Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also moved higher, trading past the key $1,700 mark this morning.

Bitcoin SV (CRYPTO: BSV) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while GMX (CRYPTO: GMX) turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.12 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 2.8%. BTC was trading higher by 4.2% at $28,338 while ETH rose by around 2.5% to $1,730 on Monday.
