Bitcoin Moves Lower Following PPI Data; XDC Network Becomes Top Loser
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved lower, with the cryptocurrency prices trading below the $27,200 level on Wednesday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), also edged lower, trading below the key $1,600 mark this morning.
Producer prices in the U.S. increased 0.5% month-over-month in September, versus a 0.7% rise in the prior month, but above market expectations of 0.3%.
Render (CRYPTO: RNDR) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while XDC Network (CRYPTO: XDC) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.06 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 0.6%. BTC was trading lower by 0.9% at $27,171 while ETH fell by around 0.2% to $1,572 on Wednesday.
