Ethereum Falls Below This Key Level Following PCE Data; Bitcoin SV Becomes Top Loser
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) traded lower, but the cryptocurrency prices remained above the $34,000 level on Friday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also moved lower, falling below the key $1,800 mark this morning.
Core PCE prices in the US rose by 0.3% from the prior month in September. The annual rate, regarded as the Fed’s preferred measure of inflation, fell to 3.7% in September.
Neo (CRYPTO: NEO) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Bitcoin SV (CRYPTO: BSV) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.26 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 0.6%. BTC was trading lower by 0.5% at $34,161 while ETH fell by around 1.6% to $1,795 on Friday.
