Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) traded lower, but the cryptocurrency prices remaining below the key $31,000 level on Wednesday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded losses, trading below the key $1,900 mark this morning.
Compound (CRYPTO: COMP) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Optimism (CRYPTO: OP) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.17 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 1.1%. BTC was trading lower by 0.8% at $30,345 while ETH fell by around 0.9% to $1,862 on Wednesday.
