Bitcoin, Ethereum Fall Following Jobless Claims Data; BitTorrent Becomes Top Loser

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved lower, with the cryptocurrency prices trading below the key $44,000 level on Thursday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also fell slightly, but remained above the key $2,200 mark this morning.
ORDI (CRYPTO: ORDI) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while BitTorrent (New) (CRYPTO: BTT) turned out to be the biggest loser.
U.S. initial jobless claims rose by 1,000 to 220,000 in the week ending Dec. 2, compared to market estimates of 222,000.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.58 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 1.2%. BTC was trading lower by 1.8% at $43,204 while ETH fell by around 0.4% to $2,251 on Thursday.
