Bitcoin Falls Following Jobs Report; THORChain Becomes Top Loser
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved lower, with the cryptocurrency prices trading below the $28,000 level on Friday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), also moved lower, trading below the key $1,700 mark this morning.
U.S. nonfarm payrolls rose by 336,000 in September, versus a revised 227,000 increase in August, and compared to market estimates of 170,000
Trust Wallet Token (CRYPTO: TWT) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while THORChain (CRYPTO: RUNE) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.08 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 0.7%. BTC was trading lower by 1.7% at $27,259 while ETH fell by around 1% to $1,615 on Friday.
