Bitcoin Falls Following PPI Data; Kaspa Emerges As Top Gainer
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved lower, with the cryptocurrency prices trading below the $37,000 level on Wednesday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded losses, but remained above the key $2,000 mark this morning.
Kaspa (CRYPTO: KAS) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Bitget Token (CRYPTO: BGB) turned out to be the biggest loser.
Producer prices in the U.S. declined 0.5% month-over-month in October, the most since April 2020 and compared to market estimates of a 0.1% rise.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.4 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 0.7%. BTC was trading lower by 0.8% at $36,181 while ETH fell by around 0.8% to $2,018 on Wednesday.
