Bitcoin Hits $47,000 Following ETF Approval; Ethereum Name Service Emerges As Top Gainer
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved higher, with the cryptocurrency prices trading above the key $47,000 level on Thursday following the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) approval of Bitcoin ETFs.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also moved higher, trading above the key $2,600 mark this morning.
Ethereum Name Service (CRYPTO: ENS) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Akash Network (CRYPTO: AKT) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.71 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 0.3%. BTC was trading higher by 5.3% at $47,308 while ETH rose by around 12% to $2,642 on Thursday.
