Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded gains, trading above the key $2,700 mark this morning.

Stacks (CRYPTO: STX) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Astar (CRYPTO: ASTR) turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.93 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 2.7%. BTC was trading higher by 3.1% at $51,480 while ETH rose by around 2.4% to $2,746 on Wednesday.
