Bitcoin Tops $43,000 Following Jobs Data; Pyth Network Emerges As Top Gainer

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved higher, with the cryptocurrency prices trading past the key $43,000 level on Friday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded gains, trading above the key $2,300 mark this morning.
Pyth Network (CRYPTO: PYTH) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while FTX Token (CRYPTO: FTT) turned out to be the biggest loser.
U.S. non-farm payrolls increased by 353,000 in January, a jump from the upwardly revised figure of 333,000 for December and well above the expected 180,000. The unemployment rate remained steady at 3.7%, below the expected 3.8%.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.65 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 2.1%. BTC was trading higher by 2.3% at $43,150 while ETH rose by around 2% to $2,309 on Friday.
