Cross-Chain Interoperability Made Easy With Chainlink Protocol On BNB Chain

In a significant move for the decentralized application (dApp) ecosystem, Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) has been integrated with the Binance Coin CRYPTO: BNB) Chain.

This development, announced Friday, promises to provide Web3 developers with a robust platform to create feature-rich dApps, further expanding the horizons of the multichain ecosystem.

The news comes ahead of the much-anticipated Benzinga Future of Digital Assets conference on Nov. 14, where such advancements in the digital asset space are set to be a focal point of discussions.

The integration allows developers from various blockchain platforms to transition to and collaborate with BNB Chain and other blockchains connected via CCIP, Chainlink said in a statement shared with Benzinga.

Chainlink's CCIP is backed by its decentralized oracle networks, known for securing over $8 trillion in on-chain transaction value.

The protocol also boasts of added safety features, including customizable rate limits for token transfers and a dedicated risk management network overseeing the authenticity of all cross-chain transactions.

Arno Bauer, senior solution architect at BNB Chain, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Chainlink has set the standard for security in the space, with many BNB Chain projects using its wide range of Web3 services to help power their applications.”

He further emphasized the synergy between Chainlink’s established infrastructure and CCIP’s security-centric design, highlighting the creation of a reliable cross-chain solution for developers.

The integration is poised to empower BNB Chain developers to future-proof their applications, consolidate liquidity, and enhance user experience across chains securely.

Chainlink's CCIP is already being utilized by projects like THENA, InsurAce, BetSwirl, and Galaxis on BNB Chain.

Johann Eid, chief business officer at Chainlink Labs, shared his perspective on the collaboration.

“We’re excited to be supporting BNB Chain developers with a secure cross-chain messaging protocol that’s needed to build seamless cross-chain applications.”

He said BNB Chain has efficient execution, robust infrastructure and a comprehensive tooling ecosystem, anticipating a surge in developer innovation due to the ability to expand across the multichain ecosystem.
