Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) traded higher, with the cryptocurrency prices surging above the key $22,000 level on Monday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also moved higher, trading close to the $1,600 mark this morning.
Synthetix (CRYPTO: SNX) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while UNUS SED LEO (CRYPTO: LEO) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.02 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 6.8%. BTC was trading higher by 9.3% at $22,524, while ETH fell by around 8.2% to $1,597 on Monday.
