Ethereum Edges Lower Ahead Of Fed Decision; Litecoin, Gala Among Top Losers

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) traded slightly higher, with the cryptocurrency prices trading above the $27,000 level on Wednesday.

Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), meanwhile, edged lower, but traded above the key $1,600 mark this morning.

The U.S. Federal Reserve is scheduled to announce its interest-rate decision on Wednesday.

Flare (CRYPTO: FLR) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Litecoin (CRYPTO: LTC) turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.07 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 0.4%. BTC was trading higher by 0.3% at $27,162 while ETH fell by around 0.8% to $1,632 on Wednesday.
