Ethereum Slides Below $1,200; Terra Classic, Solana Among Top Losers
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) recorded losses this morning, with prices for the most valued cryptocurrency in the world, trading below the $16,700 level on Wednesday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), also traded lower, falling below the key $1,200 mark on Wednesday.
ApeCoin (CRYPTO: APE) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Terra Classic (CRYPTO: LUNC) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $798.84 billion, recording a 24-hour decline of 1.6%. BTC was trading lower by 1.1% at $16,649.55, while ETH fell by around 2% to $1,193.93 on Wednesday.
