Ethereum Tops $2,000 Following Jobless Claims Data; Render Emerges As Top Gainer

Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) moved higher, but the cryptocurrency prices traded below the $37,000 level on Thursday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded gains, trading above the key $2,000 mark this morning.
Render (CRYPTO: RNDR) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Celestia (CRYPTO: TIA) turned out to be the biggest loser.
U.S. initial jobless claims climbed by 13,000 to 231,000 in the week ending Nov. 11, the highest in around three months, and compared to market estimates of 220,000.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.4 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 0.7%. BTC was trading higher by 2.1% at $36,882 while ETH rose by around 1.1% to $2,030 on Thursday.
