Why It Matters: EtherRock, launched in 2017, is one of the first crypto collectible NFT-type projects on the Ethereum blockchain. It was launched shortly after CryptoPunks. Only 100 rock NFTs are available. The virtual rocks have no use case except transactions and making the buyer a proud owner of 1 of the only 100 collectible rocks, as the website states.

Based on Cryptoslam data, global markets in the past 24 hours saw an NFT trading volume of $29.9 million, down 19.5% from the previous day. The number of NFT buyers decreased by 15.7% to 64,187.

Based on Coingecko data, Azuki is the top NFT collection, with a 24-hour trading volume of 4,405 ETH. Mutant Ape Yacht Club (1,660 ETH) and Pudgy Penguins (1,425 ETH) came in second and third.

CryptoPunks ranks fifth on the list with 632.83 ETH volume. It has the highest market cap of $1.43 billion and the highest floor price (63.99 ETH). On Jan. 22, CryptoPunks reported the largest single NFT sale in the past month valued at 205 ETH worth $507,617.

The heavily trending Trump Digital Trading Cards are ranked 69th on that list with 20.74 ETH volume and $28.6 million in market cap.

Meanwhile, Trump NFTs are rising in popularity, following the suspension of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign and his endorsement of Trump’s re-election bid.
