If You Had Invested $100 When Joe Rogan Revealed His Bitcoin QR Address In 2014, Here’s How Much You Would Have Today

Podcaster Joe Rogan has long been recognized as a steadfast advocate for Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC).

What happened: Rogan’s affinity for Bitcoin dates back to 2014 when he first shared a screenshot of his Bitcoin QR code address, revealing his entry into the cryptocurrency world.

At that time, Bitcoin was trading at $487 per coin. Having been an early advocate, Rogan proudly declared his support for Bitcoin during a conversation with author and Bitcoin expert Andreas Antonopoulos in 2016, when its price was still below $1,000.

In a podcast episode featuring renowned mixed martial artist Khalil Rountree, Rogan in 2022 said that Bitcoin had caught the government off guard, much like the early days of the internet.

Comparing Bitcoin’s rise to the emergence of the internet, Rogan expressed his view that the government failed to anticipate its growing importance, leading to its status as a viable form of currency today. “You can actually buy things with it,” Rogan said.

Why It Matters: For those who followed Rogan’s lead and invested $100 in Bitcoin on the day he shared his QR code, the returns have been nothing short of extraordinary.

With Bitcoin’s current value at $29,774, that initial investment would now be worth $6,113.76. This gain represents a 6,013.76% increase.
