As the digital asset space continues to evolve, events like these will likely be a topic of discussion at the upcoming Benzinga's Future of Digital Assets conference on Nov. 14.
Additionally, there's a provision for the distribution of another 570 million OP tokens in upcoming airdrops.
Since its inception in 2021, Optimism has seen significant growth, amassing a total value locked (TVL) of $658 million, positioning it as the sixth dominant blockchain as per DefiLlama's rankings.
Notably, earlier this year, an unexpected second airdrop by Optimism led to an 11% decline in OP's price due to the surge in its circulating supply.
