Musk’s Biography Reveals Story Behind Epic Drone Show That Featured Dogecoin, Tesla And Cybertruck At Giga Texas Opening

Elon Musk’s biography authored by Walter Isaacson captivates facets of Musk’s life. Of notable interest is his involvement with the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE).

What Happened: During the opening celebration of Tesla’s (NASDAQ:TSLA) Gigafactory in Texas in April 2022, a grand event called “Cyber Rodeo” took place.

Isaacson writes that it was organized by Musk’s brother Kimbal, and featured “the likenesses of Nikola Tesla, the Dogecoin dog mascot, and a Cybertruck in the night sky. “

Musk, a vocal supporter of Dogecoin, called this launch event “the biggest party on earth.”

Musk’s biography, as seen by Benzinga, captures the essence of the celebration, stating, “Inside, parts of the factory were staged to look like a nightclub.”

The guest list included a lineup of celebrities, such as Harrison Ford, Spike Lee, and the NFT artist Beeple.

Why It Matters: Isaacson gives an account of the situation, “The opening of Giga Texas should have been a moment of triumph. Musk had led the way into the era of electric vehicles, and now he was showing that manufacturing could thrive in America. But the buzz at the opening celebration and the afterparty was not about miracles of manufacturing.”

The book also sheds light on Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), the former CEO of FTX, and his attempt to secure a role in the acquisition of Twitter, now known as “X.”

Price Action: At the time of writing, DOGE was trading at $0.061, down 0.32% in the last 24 hours, according to Benzinga Pro.
