Bitcoin Moves Higher But Remains Below $17,000; THORChain Emerges As Top Gainer
Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) recorded gains this morning, but prices for the most valued cryptocurrency in the world traded below the key $17,000 level on Friday.
Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), also traded higher, remaining above the key $1,200 mark on Friday.
THORChain (CRYPTO: RUNE) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Helium (CRYPTO: HNT) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $810.42 billion, recording a 24-hour gain of 0.8%. BTC was trading higher by 0.6% at $16,798, while ETH rose by around 1.4% to $1,217 on Friday.
