Donald Trump NFTs Are Here: How You Can Buy Them And Get Dinner With The Former President

Former President Donald Trump announced the launch of his first digital trading card collection Thursday, bringing NFTs of himself to the masses. Here are the details.

What Happened: Trump announced Thursday the launch of Collect Trump Cards, a website that is launching 45,000 NFTs of the former president, bringing him into the world of NFTs.

“For the first time ever, collect your own rare digital collectible trading card by president Trump,” the website says.

Each NFT will be numbered to 20 or less, with some holding the distinct 1/1 rarity.

Consumers can buy the NFTs with a credit card and an email address and can buy up to 100 of the digital trading cards.

The website lists three steps to complete the transaction.

  • 1. Store Your Trump Cards: need an email address.
  • 2. Purchase Your Trump cards: select how many and pay with a credit card or with Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH).
  • 3. Receive Your Cards & Sweepstakes Codes: NFTs will be minted and delivered to a digital wallet that can be accessed with email. Codes for sweepstakes will be emailed.

The NFTs are minted on the Polygon (CRYPTO: MATIC) blockchain.

The website states the NFTs are not connected to a political campaign and the proceeds will not be used for Trump’s presidential campaign. NFT INT LLC is the company listed partnered on the launch and is not owned by Trump.

The NFTs can be transferred to other digital wallets and can be resold on the secondary market with a 10% royalty going back to the parent NFT company.
